Ms project work complete not updating azdgdatinglite switzerland
The same thing happens when I change a resource on a task.I am having difficulty determining what setting is causing this. Some info on the project settings: All tasks types are Fixed work Entire project is at auto schedule No resource is set to 100%, everyone is either 70 or 50% It is a bizarre quirk of MS-Project that setting a task to "Complete" by marking it as 100% Complete does not set the end-date to the current date.
There is no set formula for how to update project progress.
But I can't increase the % complete value beyond the % complete at the end of the first bar of the gantt plot.
Every input which is higher than that gets cut to the end of the first part again.
” Once I started trying to explain it, I realized that I’d run into excellent blog fodder. What Project does is to take the sum of all of the subtask actual durations and divide them by the sum of the subtask durations.
The formula would look something like this: …Project will calculate the rollup as (10 5 0)/(20 20 20), or 15/60, or 25%. So the rollup of % Complete is not a measure of Elapsed Duration from the start of the project to our current Status Date.
The method that you choose depends upon the nature of the work being performed and your organization’s reporting requirements.
